The colour reproduction difference between the two pictures is huge making one look better than the other (depending on your preference) showing what different (sized) sensors see in almost similar lighting. When this comparison is removed, each picture stands out quite well on its own where one does something better than the other and vice versa. What was interesting for me is that I shot with the smartphone first and used the DSLR only as an afterthought.
